Problem: Barnyardgrass (Lawns)
Echinochloa crus-galli Barnyardgrass, also called watergrass, is a warm-season annual weed that is usually found in poorly managed lawns of low fertility. It reproduces by seeds and develops into a plant with a shallow root system. Although the natural growth habit of barnyardgrass is upright, when mowed regularly it forms ground-hugging mats.
Improve soil fertility and maintain a dense, healthy lawn by following recommended lawn care practices.
