Problem: Brown recluse spiders

Problem Info
Adult brown recluse spiders are light to dark brown, with a body length of 1/3 to 1/2 inch and a leg span about the size of a quarter. Indoors, they are found in secluded places like old boxes, behind baseboards, and underneath tables and chairs. Grayish, irregular, sticky webs and round white egg sacs 3/4 inch wide may be found in infested areas.
Analysis
Loxosceles reclusa These poisonous spiders are found in the Midwest and Southeast. Other related but less poisonous spiders (Loxosceles species) are found throughout most of the United States. Brown recluse spiders live in secluded places and are very shy, moving away quickly when disturbed. If they are touched or trapped in shoes, clothing, or bedding, they may bite. Their venom is rarely fatal but causes a severe sore that is very slow to heal and sometimes causes illness.
Solution Advice
Remove loose wood, trash, or clutter from areas where spiders might hide. Wear gloves and protective clothing when cleaning.
