Problem: Creeping Jenny
Lysimachia nummularia Also called moneywort or creeping Jenny, this weed invades areas of the lawn where grass won''t grow because of shade and constantly moist soil. It is a perennial weed that reproduces by creeping stems that root easily at their joints wherever they touch the soil. It also reproduces by seeds. Creeping Charlie is sometimes planted as a groundcover in shaded, moist rock gardens.
Improve the soil drainage.
