Problem: Goosegrass (Lawns)
Eleusine indica This warm-season annual weed, also known as silver crabgrass, resembles crabgrass, but it is darker green, germinates later in the spring to midsummer, and doesn''t root at the stem joints. This weed reproduces by seeds and grows an extensive root system that is difficult to pull up. Goosegrass invades thin areas of the lawn where the soil is compacted and infertile.
Reduce soil compaction. Maintain a healthy, dense lawn by following recommended lawn care practices.
